Tuesday Nights, Spring 2018: Who is God?
We can never know all there is to know about God, but we can spend our lives learning more about who God is.
This semester we’ll talk about names for God and what they mean, how God has worked in scripture and in our own lives,
and how exploring scripture’s many images of God can help us relate to God in new ways.

 

Sunday, February 4: Super Bowl Party
We’ll gather to watch the game, eat, and have fun together.

Tuesday, February 13 @ 6:00pm: Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper
Join us as we host our annual pancake supper in the Fellowship Hall of AFBC.
We’ll work together to cook and serve tasty pancakes to our church family. It’s always a fun night of fellowship!

Wednesday, February 14 @ 6:00pm: Ash Wednesday Service
We will join with First Presbyterian Church and Holy Trinity Episcopal in an Ash Wednesday service.
Together we will take time to reflect through prayers, music, and the imposition of ashes.

Sunday, February 25: Rise Against Hunger
Join our church family as we pack meals for the hungry.

Holy Week Services:
March 29 – Maundy Thursday: 6:00 pm in the AFBC Sanctuary
March 30 – Good Friday: 7:00 pm in the AFBC Sanctuary

Sunday, April 8 @ 11:00am: College Sunday
The college ministry will lead in worship at Auburn First Baptist on this Sunday morning. It will be a wonderful day for our congregation as college students plan and lead each part of our service.

Tuesday, April 24 @ 6:30 pm: Bonfire at Randle Farms
End the semester with s’mores and fellowship!

Sunday, April 29 @ 11:00 am: College Graduate Recognition
Our church family will celebrate with our spring and summer graduates as they reach an important milestone in their lives.

The College Ministry of Auburn First Baptist is offered to all students as an opportunity to grow in their relationships with Christ and to be part of a community of faith away from home. This is a safe place to ask questions and explore our faith as we study the Bible, deal with issues faced by young adults today, and seek to live into our calling as Christ followers.
