Tuesday Nights, Spring 2017: Worship
There are many styles and approaches to worship. Ultimately, worship enables us to hear and respond to God’s call for us to be the people of God in our own time and place. This semester we will explore why we worship, components of worship, and the power worship has to help form us into the people of God.

Tuesday, February 28 @ 6:00 pm: Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper
Join us as we host our annual pancake supper in the Fellowship Hall of AFBC. We’ll work together to cook and serve tasty pancakes to our church family. It’s always a fun night of fellowship!

Wednesday, March 1 @ 6:00 pm: Ash Wednesday Service
We will join with First Presbyterian Church and Holy Trinity Episcopal in an Ash Wednesday service. Together we will take time to reflect through prayers, music, and the imposition of ashes. The service will be held in the sanctuary of AFBC.

Sunday, March 5 @ 11:00 am: College Sunday
The college ministry will lead in worship at Auburn First Baptist on this Sunday morning. It will be a wonderful day for our congregation as college students plan and lead each part of our service.

The College ministry is offered to all students as an opportunity to grow in their relationship with Christ, as well as with each other. Questions and discussion are encouraged in our study of the Bible, and as we deal with issues faced by young adults today.
